A Woman covering her eyes with her hands says the blessing over the Shabbath candles. I draw 2 Doves as her palm hands to represent and welcome Peace and Shechinah into her house.
It says in the Zohar that when a male and his soul mate come together as one there is a perfect unity. When they get married 12 gates are opening for the male, he gets 12 blessings (Health..Prosperity..Happiness..Fulfillment….) that as a single he couldn’t reveal them. The Eshet chyil poem also represents the masculine side of God praising His missing feminine half (the Shekinah). It is traditionally sung at the table on Friday night in praise of both the woman of the house and the Shekinah.
